    Is Danny Graham worth £3m?

I only heard about him last season...he had a good one admittedly, but no better than Jason Scotland, Ben Watson or Sylvain Ebanks Blake....all of which were the dogs b o l l o c k s in the CCC but didn't do too much in the Prem?

That question will only be answeredif given a chance. Taarabt worth £10m? Andy Carroll worth £35m? Many players cost over the odds.

I think Graham will prove to be a big hit.
        Your mum would love me...

Yes he might!...but equally he might not!!....We need proven experience, not gambles.

Yes - lets not start pretending we don't want him.

                Maybe he will.

But people seem to be really hanging their hats on Graham, when he is just as unproven in the Prem as Morison, CMS or any other player who's never played there.
Maybe it's the bidding war with Swansea, and the fact that we might be outbid by them thats fueling the desire for Graham to be signed - rather than any certainty that he's the "real deal"??
Personally I think he's got the tools to be good, but there are others too.

Maybe CMS could prove to be just as good as Graham, and suit that level? All unproven. All just predictions, opinions and guesswork with players like that.

Same as Mackie. We wont know until he's given his chance.

The one thing that is certain, is that ANY player we sign will have issues of some kind. Either "Out of favour", "unproven in the Prem", a bit injury prone, or "knocking on a bit".
If they weren't any of those things, then we wouldn't have a prayer of signing them in the first place.
We're QPR - not Liverpool or Man Utd.

                  Yes, definitely worth 3.5M...

I do tend to think he is the real deal!!...and that we have missed out.....but I'd rather have Roque Cruz or other proven prem striker.

The question is, who can we get for the same money who is better ? The only player I can think of is Shane Long, but he would cost more if the rumours are to be believed.

Proven Prem strikers wages are way beyond our pay structure.

All day long if Morison gone to Norwich for £3m. Just look at Graham's 26 goals last season on video on another thread.Natural poacher who will get better with good players round him.

The whole episode has become very embarrassing - this is a player from......yes WATFORD playing in the Champ, he is being chased by yes......SWANSEA. We are owned by multi Million/Billionaires but.....we are set to lose out.

                            Joke.

But if so, we'd had tried harder to get Graham??...Plenty of time yet!!
