I feel we need at least one thread dedicated to the man. I've not heard his name mentioned in ages.

Mr. Paladini, who was clearly mindful of the issue of third party investment by the very existence of the subject-matter of the Oral Agreement and insistence upon the ‘Comfort Letter’, did not consider it necessary to consult with The FA and seek its approval for the course he was taking. He did not consult with the Club’s Solicitors. He did not refer the matter to Ms. Springett. Instead, he took it upon himself to undertake what was a lawyer’s task of negotiating a suspension of a third party’s interest in the economic rights over a Player he was proposing to sign on behalf of the Club. Having taken the initial step of insisting upon the protection which he thought
the Comfort Letter would provide, he then failed to take the essential further
precautionary step of having the arrangement considered and approved by the Club’s lawyers and the FA. In the light of the Tevez saga, the course that he took was inadvisable and fraught with risks. With hindsight, Mr. Paladini clearly appreciated that that was the case.

I'd be surprised if the release of the ST prices on the same day as the FA report was a total co-incidence.

It is not because the FA will give prior notice to the club of the timing of the release. I am only surprised by the lack of hacks not picking up on the contents of the IRC report. Perhaps a weekend broadsheet may do after the play offs and the Europen Cup game is out of the way.

I dont think so. It is the view as written by the Chairman on behalf of all the IRC. The fact that he is a lawyer is not the point, all Chairman of IRC's tend to be lawyers for very good reasons. And it must certainly is not the views of the FA as it was not written by them and are bound by the findings of the Independent Regulatory Commission.

The IRC report is part of today and the future. Every club witness bar one was deemed to be a crediable and realiable witness bar one. The one that was not and by their omissions failed to keep the club on-side has created £875,000 plus the clubs legal costs and 50% of the IRC's costs to be paid by the club, no sorry I must admit to making my first mistake on this board, I have got that wrong, its through season ticket prices which are met by the clubs fans.

As I said in a previous post a club cannot bring the game into disrepute, it is the actions or omissions of its Board, senior executives or its employees. I was told I was wrong well I think you will find that the IRC findings sides with me.

Today and season ticket prices and the IRC are linked, to use that well know phrase, cause and effect.

Although to be honest if you was our chairman and I go by your previous posts, QPR would be plying our trade in league 1, with Damion Stewart as capt and sousa as manager, drawing at home to brentford. U can't judge a players ability and that was summed up when u said what a great loss it was when damion stewart left.

So I made a bad call on Stewart, it seemed like the wrong move at the time....jesus you'd think I was the sort of fool who got a refund on their season ticket on what turned out to be one of the best seasons ever.

just 1 thing pete - the fa report quite clearly states that tirri approached the club re faurlin so how is it you still maintain gp should take credit for the signing when it he was dished up on a plate? Maybe tirri just knew where he could guarantee a soft touch and a payout..

With all due respect, he hardly lost me money. I could chose to follow every tip. I've followed two, and both lost.

Paladini made the admin error as Chairman because he was incompetent, he made errors as Sporting Director because he was incompetent, what other line off work does such a level of incompetence get rewarded. I know a hell of lot more than you regarding this corrupt spiv ****. Information is fed from individuals very close to him and a lot of it is unpostable on this site and just gets past around on PM, not that your in the loop because most on here think you are a donut.

Out of curiosity how much exactly has Paladini cost the club during his tenure??

There are the obvious costs of an 800k FA fine, Legal costs of hearing, Padula’s contract, interest free loan; did the club cover his legal fees for Gungate??? Dean Sturridge and the non existent medical!!!

Im sure there is plenty more costs others can add…..

He is comfortably touching 7 figures.
