He was not good enough for West Ham and when he did play, missed a couple of sitters and How much would you pay him,nwould you match his £60,000ish a week ?

Scott Parker was dropped for a few games in the Keane era. Was he not good enough for West Ham?

All good strikers miss sitters. Except Agyemang. He misses sitters and is still useless!

He played in a poor West Ham side, was unsettled and was basically not interested. DJ Campbell is evidence alone that you play in a good settled side you can score goals at the highest level.

If he is 32 or 62 he is still a million miles better than what we have or have been linked with.

Wages were neutral. Other stuff going on in the background between Spurs and West Ham - both player and non player related.

The poll is too simplistic

If he was a free transfer/loan and on £30k a week then yes, but if the transfer fee was £x million and £70k a week then No.

Why would he sit on the bench?? It is even more hilarious if you think Agyemang, Helguson and Hulse will start up front ahead of Keane!

Anyone that says no is certifiably insane. IMO.

We've spent too long outside the top flight to realise the huge step up and difference in quality.

Anyone signing Robbie Keane gets a vastly experienced international captain with great technique, nearly 200 career goals, great leadership, hardly ever had a serious injury, still has a bit of pace, not yet 31 and his international profile would catapult our commercial reach into another level entirely.

His non appearances at West Ham were more "political" rather than soley due to form btw and he tore up the SPL last season. Became top score despite only playing 4 months.

Absolute no-brainer for me. Investment, not a risk. Slightly biased, I know, but there you go!

I would be interested in him if he took a big drop in wages (not more than £20K... when he plays).

He has experience which could be very valuable to QPR, and can score goals (even if he did struggle in a poor West Ham side).

He is better than Helguson, Hulse, Clarke or Agyemang.

However, I agree that there are other good options out there for QPR, but also agree that QPR will need 4 good Premier League quality strikers, if they are to do more than be a bottom 3 side for the PL campaign.
