He will score goals, already a cult figure at QPR and would be a real sign of intent.

Too high a wages though IMO and won't happen.

My only worry would be is that if we are struggling then the defenders just look to play long diagonal balls to him from the half way line, thus negating the midfield, as we did on occasion when he was here previously. Defenders sometime just look for the easy ball. This is not a dig at Crouchy just what tends to happen. With PC in the side we would need the wingers to get to the bye line and cross it.

Hmm i think a few expectations on here may be a little bit high.....

The guy got the winner in the knockout stages of the Champions league against AC Milan. He is a proven premiership goalscorer and bangs goals in for England.

Given the above information do you honestly think he would sign for QPR? It would be a massive backward step, not to mention bigger and better clubs will be after him.

Think we should be looking at the likes of Danny Graham.....

Wd be the club's biggest signing since Tony Currie in '79. But fear he is far too good for us.

Would definitely get all fans onside, and imagine we would extend over our wage cap to get him, but wouldn't imagine we'd push more than £30k a week. Whilst Crouch may be willing to lower his demands, a 50% cut is asking a lot of the player.

Don't forget that Clancy is from Merseyside so may want him to take her back closer to home with a baby on the way.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Aston Villa try and re-sign him. Heskey & Carew gone, they need a presence up top.

I think we would need to go 40k a week min.

If we did sign him that 40k a week would be worth it.

Not sure what the fee would be to sign him but 2 million pound in wages is worth it imo.

We are desperate for a top striker and I would sign DJ campbell to play up top with him.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                        if

if you check les ferdinands wikipedia you can see that his four seasons at spurs did not yeild profic goals

im not really sure about crouchie i am a great fan of his ability, but i think qpr have had one massive floor in the system that we use

the only really way that we can get someone up front to score prolific,is to sign a 5ft 6 inches pocket backet ship, that argentinion saveloy could do the job,but we need some chips to work with him

our greatness is our front four players being able to run at defenders and take them on,i just think crouch will not be able to adopt to having crosses pumped at him from both wings

He does have a habit of rejoining clubs Spurs x2 Pompey x2. He knows the club is loved by the fans. Having played in CL last season and a regular in the England setup i just cant see him joining us. Wages would be out of our bracket i think.

He's never hidden the fact that he wants to end his career with us. If not this season I think he will be back next, all depends whether Warnock wantsa him or not
