No very overrated and no where near the player he thinks he is. We should look for better imo.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

He is not as good as he thinks he is but would do a good job for a mid/lower prem team. IMO the wages he is probably on now is a lot higher than his skill set warrants so look elsewhere as there is more value for moneyComment

Not a fan of his in that for a top club like Arsenal he misses a hell of a lot of chances, but my worry is that if fans are turning their noses up at the like of Bendtner they cd be v disappointed. Need to lower our expectations lads.Comment

100% agree.
How people can turn their noses up some of the names I've seen on here recently is amazing. bizzare.
Not sure what it was like on here last year when Derry & Hill were signed, but i bet it wasn't exactly fireworks and red carpets.
Nic Bendtner isnt that bad that we can expect much better than him. that's just mental talk. This isn't a game of Football Manager on a pc.
or maybe it is, if you think about it!Comment

Going to stick my head above the parapet and say that I actually think Bendtner is a much better player than he gets credit for. Obviously Nicklas Bendtner is nowhere near as good as Nicklas Bendtner thinks he is but I'd throw it out there that he's a better option than Chamakh.
All rather pointless anyway as we couldn't afford him, and he'd never sign for us.Comment

agree. thats why I find it strange to see a player of that level being rubbished by us. Expectations are out of control if a player like him is being disregarded!Going to stick my head above the parapet and say that I actually think Bendtner is a much better player than he gets credit for. The problem is his image. He does come across as arrogant and Big Time Charlie. And his wages are WAY too high for us.
But....
