    England goalies in the Championship...

    1. David James

    2. Rob Green

    3. Ben Foster

And Chris Kirkland nearly went with Wigan!

Not much competition for Joe Hart who I rate very highly.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Think that sums up how foreign players are destroying the national side.

Bottom line, not good enough, Hart proves if you are good enough you will make it.
      Kept the faith!

Providing you get the chance, which many clubs don't give English players.

Foster had a chance at Man U, Carson at Liverpool, Green West Ham, Kirkland Liverpool, and not one of them you could turn around and say is better than the guys who replaced them.

            Just not good enough.

With the exception of Hart, Paddy Kenny is a better goalkeeper than the rest.

We have arguably one of the top 5 goalies in the PL, massive player for us next season.

Yes but we are talking about english keepers.

I agree with Stan, I think you are being harsh cali.

To say english players are getting a chance I have to disagree because players come through the youth set ups but kids are not getting the chance because its all about instant success and its cheaper buying a foreigner.
Very bad news for the national team so I make stan right.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Well I'm talking about goalies in the PL, I couldn't give a stuff about the national team and after the FA treatment of us, I hope they falter at every turn in the future.

Ok just thought it might not be hard for you to answer the original posters point, nevermind then.

Maybe you should stop thinking out loud, it normally gets you into trouble...

Also the English media is notoriously hard on keeper's.They get slaughtered in the press if they make a mistake but a defender's mistake that gift's a goal is forgotten.

We hardly help our own player's confidence when we can't wait to shred them to bit's.
