The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. -
Except that, BE is the main shareholder of Holdings company (apparently), and therefore presumably has no asset as security, because the asset is owned by a company which is owned by the two minority shareholders. This is a straight forward business tactic, no one in theit right mind would buy a club pay off its debt and not hold security on the asset.
The situation was extremely clear in 2007, if we didnt have the flavio ,bernie investment we would have gone into administration. We are 'in their hands' completely and we will only be as good as they want us to be. If someone now wants to buy into QPR from them they would cover all of this Amulya debt but i would almost 100% guarantee they will do the same, use the asset as security.
Still, some see the negotiations for owbnership of the club as a battle between the forces of right and wrong, good and evil etc.
The relationship between our three main shareholders has been very cosy as I have said before, and will continue to be until ownership negotiations are concluded. No battles here.Comment
