Heidar Helguson looking forward to Premier League return

HEIDAR Helguson is hoping Edwin Van der Sar postpones his retirement – so the QPR forward can score more goals against him.

If some of the horrendous misses in the Championship are to go by then he is definitely NOT good enough.. bloody hell we should be looking at going into our first season back in the PL with much better than HH can offer in my opinion...

That is my opinion, did a decent job last season and deserves a chance as a squad player next season but if he starts for us in the premier league it will mean we have failed to get some decent strikers in and if so we will struggle badly

I agree he won't be our best option and we do need some good forwards in, but he has played in the prem before unlike a lot of our current players, and going by that piece he seems to have his reasons to be fired up.

Maybe it's just a last ditch attempt though at getting Neil to think he's gonna be good enough due to his drive as he knows that with new forwards he won't be an option, no harm in a bit of PR he may have thought (our HHs a crafty lad)

Agreed couldnt hit a cows #### with a banjo in the championship so anyone who thinks he is gonna set the world alight in the premier league is living in a dream world.

like a lot of us he is hoping that we will not have to rely on either of those two.. managed to do a job between them in the Championship but would be amazed.. even astonished if they could do anything at all worth shouting about next season with us in the PL.. having said that would love to be proved wrong but can't see it somehow..

I thought he was out of contract ?
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

I would not be confident going into the Prem with Heidar as our main striker

I remember on here most saying we need a better striker but now we got to the Prem people are satisfied we can do well with him
