We already have a 1 in 6 striker on huge money. His names Patrick Agyemang.

Bothroyd has managed 6 decent months in 10 seasons as a pro, and even then, 15 of his 20 this season are against bottom half sides.

Wouldn't touch him or any Cardiff player with a bargepole.

Bothroyd on a free definitely is a no brainer!!! He might be tempted too especially as i seem to remember paper reports recently saying his relationship with lisa snowdan was under strain due to time spent apart!!! So a move to london could be well up his street!

Bothroyd is just a crap Carlton Cole.

No hunger, no fight, no heart, no goals.

              83 goals in 332 games.

1/5 of his career goals came in a 20 game period before Xmas.

A crap Carlton Cole is still better than a crap Rob Hulse or Patrick Agyman imho.

Bambi (dexter) had a better strike rate than him and he isn't good enough, so why is he ?

maybe he's improved. mackie's record was even worse but became a fans favourite.

Not that we would stand much of a chance in signing Bothroyd, especially as he is a free agent, but are people on here really suggesting that he is worse than what we have? Some of the posters on here are a tad doolally in my opinion.

I´d be happy if we can get Bothroyd. He´s a London boy aswell. That could sway him here

There is no doubting that Cardiff were one of the best attacking sides this season, but where they failed was in their defence, hence the reason they were not good enough.
We showed that teams have to play together as one.
Spurs made this mistake a few years back too, very high scoring games due to good attack but crap defence.
Neil and Harry now both have it right.
I believe Bothroyd would be a good signing, in a well balanced side he will shine.

                            Whitts no. Bothroyd yes.

As mentioned tends to go missing but theirs no doubting his ability & under Neil Warnock I could see him being a real pest against opposition.

And for free.. All day long.

Bothroyd and maybe Bellamy. Finally revenge for 2003 when they went up and took Richard Langley off us.
