It is Faurlin's economic rights ownership that are the main subject here. The FA will want to know what contracts he knew about, was a party to, and what he knew about his transfer to QPR. QPR may be calling him as a witness because he has knowledge which undermines the FA charges.

Would you have a hearing which is all about a player's transfer and contract and not call the player?
