    Criticism of Paladini as well...

I also suspect once the verdict is reached Paladini will come in for heavy criticism from the commission.

              I know what you mean.
              It's all a bit... convenient.

Maybe that's just the cynic in me?
F*ck me, as Rangers fans, we're entitled to be cynical.

Custis was pillaried for "FA source". Surely "someone inside the hearing" is just as bad.

Morris. I agree with your last statement. Too good to be true.

Yep, I hope were just being extra cautious in believeing him.

He could be 100% spot on for all we know. I don't see why he would BS.

Seems a hell of a lot of effort for winding us up.
Fair play if it is though. Hook line and sinker for me. My Iphone is dying on it's #### the amount of tweet refreshes I have done in the last two hours!

Just asked if he or anyone is able/allowed to report a detailed breakdown of this hearing after the event.

                          Reply: "That is my plan".

So, whatever happens (if all this is kosher) - we should get a decent report of the whole hearing.

This to me is more an expose of the FA than any gallant attempt to help QPR (although it may equate to the same thing).

Can't be certain but he sounds credible. Good news if true. But the FA moves in mysterious ways and I'm taking absolutely nothing for granted until the verdict.

That's the worry - sounds like a load of old shite from the FA.

However...if the four man committee say Guilty to public over-inflation of the transfer fee (which we may have been, although this is debateable - the only "gain" is reputation.) and using a non FA agent (again, small fry as he was FIFA registered), but Not guilty to anything else and the FA then dock points to stop us winning the Championship (never mind promotion) who on earth would agree that was fair punishment?

ANY points deducted should be because of financial gain or "on the field gain".
Doesn't appear we have gained in either of these areas and nor has any 3rd party.

I'm starting to love this in a masochistic sort of way.

This could be the beginning of the end for the FA as we know it.

I don't think anyone believed for a second that the Faurlin deal was anywhere near 3.5m, and I'm sure someone could dig up the threads from the time about this.

In any case, I am not aware that this is against any FA rules and is certainly not something they have charged us with. Seems to me they have jumped to the wrong conclusion and this whole episode could have easily been sorted out behind closed doors without causing undue stress to us supporters and without the FA digging themselves into a bloody great hole.

I think the issue now is that the FA will have so much egg on their faces that heads will have to roll so they are fighting for their jobs and reputations. I really hope we don't end up compromising to allow them to wriggle out of this.
18th August 2011. The day we got our Rangers back
