This Hearing Thing

As I understand it, it starts on Tuesday, concludes on Thursday and we get the outcome on Friday?

Okay, does anyone here know if they meet on Tuesday and decide that say, on two charges, they find there is "no case to answer", could they reveal that on Wednesday and say they are still looking at the rest of the charges?

Just want to know if the decision can be staggered in this way or do we have to wait till Friday for the verdict on all the charges together?

I don't know, but I would guess that we will hear everything on Friday.

Normally a day for a hearing would suffice but as the club has been hit with more than one charge but perhaps group into 3 headings it may take more.


My take is 1 day for hearing, the 2nd day the panel will deliberate and agree a decision.

What is not clear is if they also have the power to decide the size of any penalty. Either way I believe a third day will be taken for consulation with higher execuitve powers in the FA if they do and/or for them to take the decision. Then either late on the third day the club will get advance notice of the decision so that it can prepare an annoucement after the FA's on the fouth day (Friday). Or the club will be on stand by at 9am Friday will receive an email and have an hour to prepare its response.

Not too sure what the injunction would be in advance of an appeal procedure being exhausted.

Not seeing the paperwork and I would really would like to be in the room for the hearing, the only wriggle room on this would be that a) the decision broke the FA's own rules, b) the decision was perverse c) not proportional d) that a member of the tribunal had a conflict of interests and was tainted and bias e) that the tribunal in its deliberations considered evidence not put before the club prior to the hearing and therefore the club could not prepare/respond to f) that normal rules of natural justice and due process were not followed and if all else fails h) GP is a bull shitter

Tactically I would use the appeal process first, if this was not exhausted prior to the play offs taking place, then the club has the FA in a corner. This would be aginst the grains of natural justice. It would be prejudicial. The club has seven days to appeal which will take you to the 13th, it is not clear how quickly the FA will hear such an appeal but the play off final is the weekend21/22nd.

I cant see how this can be processed in time, so the FA with one eye on this will I believe on my third day make a balanced decision and stuff the club ( the supporters through our ticket prices) with a heavy fine. That I believe should be met by those cupable in this affair unless they can prove to the fans that they were not cupable.

Nope closed FA session, still would want to be there nevertheless because it is the only place where all the facts are being put on the table. You can make your own mind up as to what has gone on. Not the **** newspaper, not GP spin it is only place to be on a Tuesday if one could

Agreed. Can then get on with dreaming of next session, places to plan and go to once the fixure list is out and have a few beers watching Cardiff get knocked out would make my May.

I'm still not clear why it is only seven days to appeal. Other recent FA rulings have given the clubs affected either 14 or 28 days to appeal. Does anyone know?
