Have the FA deliberately leaked information to save themselves from ??

Just another slant on this whole situation. We know the FA are bottlejobs when it comes to dealing with high profile cases. Does anyone here think they have deliberately leaked information to enable QPR to get the case thrown out that way saving the Chaos that would be caused by a points punishment?

They obviously can't just do nothing now and this way they cannot be seen to bottling a decision or making one that could potentially cost them millions and drag on the season. By simply making a scapegoat and affording the blame to the leak meaning the case has to be thrown out, the FA will have saved themselves having to make a big decision.

It had crossed my mind that The Sun article was probably helpful to us in the long run. If FA did impose a punitive points deduction next week we could argue that the hearing was just lip-service and they'd clearly already judged us as guilty in their own minds and worked out the punishment... guilty 'til proved innocent sort of thing.
