Sorry to start another thread on points deduction etc but how come it has come about this season when we are top. Can any one confirm?

FA I note have been very careful in the words they used.

I suspect they were off today and someone had to write that stuff, as they are not open Bank Holidays.

I thought it arose due to Faurlin's contract renewal in October? I know that does not fit the conspiracy theory angle but it does sound reasonable and plausible?

Imagine if his contract submitted to the FA said £x payable to him per week.

Yet another had turned up stating that a different amount went to him and a certain amount going via a convoluted route to someone else associTed with the club?
