if they deduct points - our first focus should be getting behind the team and winning the play offs.

We will be the first and last club ever to win the Championship and the Championship Play Off Final. We should get a Champions God-Damn League place for that.

If we are deducted 15 points, we would not make the play offs and even if we did, we would be battered.

          My take -

Someone from the FA has clearly privately briefed The Sun - and if the Murdoch empire (SSN/Talksport) is happy to go with the story elsewhere there must be some confidence in the source.

But the bottom line is, with this briefing natural justice has been breached by the FA. The case should be sub judice. The question must be - are the FA trying to influence the outcome before the hearing takes place?

QPR's lawyers first action must be to bring this to the panel's attention, in order to have the case thrown out.

The case will be judged by an independent panel - so no-one, including anyone at the FA, can say whether QPR will be found guilty of some or all charges, and if we are, then what the penalty will be.

QPR's defence could also wander into the realms of EU Law, if the agent in question is registered with FIFA and in Italy, but not the UK. Lengthly court cases would follow if the panel upheld breaches on this basis.

A mistake by the FA to brief the press like this.

they would never deduct enough to rule us out of the play-offs....and we would get battered withj that attitude.

If we use this to unify and galvanise the fans and team - we would be favourites for the play offs.

Warnock can say what he wants, but the players will be shot to pieces and we will be battered.

It is clear tosh and a lull period for the sporters writers. The hearing is the 3rd May and the decision due on the 6th. I am not ITK but have sheds load of involvment in how cases of a similar nature are conducted. Any pre-determined decision breaks all established rules of natural justice and therefore no decision has been made. It would leak out, so I will also pose this to the doom and gloom merchants, does the lawyer in question want their professional integrity questioned, answer no. There would be various court cases left right and centre if this was the case and the FA has far too much to use if it was.

I am aware there is nothing other than the bloody wedding going on but calm down dears

There is nothing in that story that is new. Lots of 'may's' and 'if's' and 'up to's'. Though now in The Sun it reaches a wide audience which may pressurise the FA when meting out punishment. It's a great headline but actually read the story. Not much in it is there? We knew we'd be up for punishment, the red tops love the exaggeration and sensation of the ultimate sanction.

Look at what we know re 3rd party involvement with us.

Rule not implemented in the Football League until 1 Sept 10 i.e. post transfer window. Worse case scenario is that Faurlin's 3rd party agreement was not rectified until Sept 28 during which time he played 37 minutes. I suppose the 15pts Custis mentions is worse case if the FA deem he was an active squad member during that 5 game period.

As I understand it we sought clarification and amended as soon as feasible.

The last few lines of the sun article sum it up - other clubs to take legal action over points lost and play-offs may not take place until any court action is concluded. Neither of those will happen as how can the FA start the new season without matters finished from previous season? Utter tripe the whole article.

I have said previously no-one inside the club, FA, media etc have any real idea what will happen
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
