    New Song Idea!

Just heard it sung by the Man Utd fans at the ****mers! Found it on the internet - sounds great and is very simple!

Could replace the word "Goodbye" with QPR. Or keep goodbye and sing it when we are up! :drunk:

This is poor (I'll admit) but do you remember the old Dubliners song "The Irish Rover"?.....Can anyone do anything with this dogs ear:

On the 7th of May 2 thousand and 11
The R’s won the league in West London
We got promoted along with our mercurial number 7
And all talk of points away was done

    Twas a wonderful sight
They were great left and right
Warnock got the best from the troops
No defence as tight, Premiership is our right.
And they called us the Superhoops!

not really a fan of these singing threads but sung to the words"queens park rangers" for 10-15 mins then its a thumbs up from me-quite like a long loud song if sung by full stand/stands. we normally sing for 30 secs and go quiet. remains to be seen if we can carry it off with the panache that our team deserves.

i think away games could work best as most people sing at those games!

but when we get a song going at LR it can be quite loud. I think this song would work!

like it. And history shows the more simple the song the more likely it will work.

used to be sung in the loft many years ago with "Gerry Francis" instead of goodbye!

Found myself singing this last night when I heard them singing - took me back to the old loft days.
