So much for the "six of the seven charges have been dropped" ITK lines of a couple of weeks ago.
Seven charges for a clerical error! Doesn't seem likely

      Its called protocol.

One charge is the main one that is contentious.

My point exactly stan but Pete won't answer this question.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

yeah don't worry about the other 6 Stan, apparently 1 of the 6 is relating to GP's dress code and we think we can answer it.

How have you answered it? The 6 charges haven't been dropped so you were wrong Pete.

It all comes down to one charge/

The seven charges branch out of the one.

I can't really write it down in layman terms.

Bit like if you murdered someone, you would have one main charge, even though you'd have several other points of law linked to that one charge to be found guilty with.

But you'd get one charge. Indeed, in cases of multiple offences, they would often have one as a specimin charge with other offences taken into consideration, not seven charges for one offence.

It's a snowball effect. We call it a "catch all" scenario.
The problem is Pete, you have said previously that 7 of the 8 charges have fallen away whereas it appears that the 7 actually only have merit if the main charge is upheld?
If this is the case, then perhaps you are inferring that they fall away because we are not guilty on the main charge?
If, on the other hand, you are saying the other 7 have no merit or are not triggered by wrongdoing under the main charge then I can see why people would be confused about the previous statement.

Pete I think the problem many are having hear is that you are expecting everyone to accept your word on this. Your not really dealing in facts, just speculation. Any stories about 6/7 charges being dropped have been taken from this website or the same people your speaking to.

Due to one man's incompetence us fans are going to be suffering for the next month when all we should be feeling is adulation its just not on. I am in the camp that we will go up regardless, but I think this is a little bit more serious than the QPR PR Machine would have us believe.

The "problem" as you describe it is exacerbated by people casting their own opinions as being fact. Outside of the parties, no one yet knows what the true position is and that will remain the case at least until the whole thing is resolved. Even then we will not know the whole case - but everyone will still have their own views on who has done what and why - only some of us like to leave the facts to speak for themselves rather than believe the whole thing is one big conspiracy

If the independant commission decide we are guilty, who decides the punishment? Them or the FA?

                            That's a good question.
My guess is that the independant commission will decide the outcome of the charges and leave the FA to levy punishment as they see fit. I doubt that an independant body has the jurisdiction to mete out sanctions, but that will depend on the basis of their appointment.

                              Hi all.

I don't know the ins and outs - but I spoke to someone who is on the board at Reading at the weekend. Basically every team in the championship (and some below) are waiting to see if we gained an "illegal competative advantage" by playing Faulin - with a view to launching further legal action against us. I felt sick at first to be honest. However. He also said that such universal action would open a massive can of worms and would basically drown the FA, FL and all the teams in an awful, ongoing legal mess due to the precident set.

I asked him what his gut feeling was and he said that if we had done wrong in the main respect then we were likely to get "a good slap on the wrist" (read moderate fine) for "inaccurete" paperwork.... an "innocent" oversite if you like.

Like I said - I'm not ITK. Just relaying a conversation I had.....

Everyone is panicing about nothing, it'll be a fine..

Until today even the papers have forgotten about it, if we were bottom/ near the bottom of the league we wouldnt have had nearly as much media attention on this..

Its a story cos of how well were doing, nothing more, just enjoy the fact we are smashing this league to pieces and crack on..
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...
