    QPR Chelsea 89 Testimonial

    Anyone remember Alan McDonalds Testimonial against Chelsea in 89, I think? Having an argument with my dad about a legends game they had at half time and someone wearing white trainers got two cracking goals??Convinced it was Dave Thomas but he saying otherwise. Cant find it on net.

    Been registered here for a while but never post, just read....great site!!

          Wimbledon at home 89 i think we lost 1-0 Fashanu (two touches, one from there goalie the second header by fashanu) typical Wimbledon

                  Like Pete,cant remember much about Donny last week let alone that long ago but all i do know is Macca's Testimonial was 11th May 1990

                      I was mascot for us that day but don't remember much of the game. It was in may 1990 though. George Best played for us that night and got a photo with him and Gerry Francis.

                      Just googled it and it said we lost 4-2 and Alan Mcdonald scored a penalty. Will ask my family if they know anymore about the game later.

                          I remember a few 5cum kids running on the pitch giving it large at the end. That wouldn't happen now as all hell would break loose.
