My sons M8 won family tickets to go see Aldershot last year, it's only a couple of miles up the road for me, saw them draw 1-1 with Grimsby.

England v Montenegro 0-0, my first England game at the new Wembley,(went to loads at the old stadium) absolute sh*te! Been to Bournemouth and Southampton loads as they give out plenty of freebies to their academy players.

Where do you live - I live in Fleet, about 4miles from Aldeshot.

Been there a few times, including years back when they got promoted to the football league.

Last non QPR game for me was the last England match at Wembley. Last non QPR club game was Arsenal at the Emirates v Birmingham.

Wanted to see the stadium, but more importantly, wanted to watch Thierry Henry live.
One of those players you would say in 20/30 years time "I saw him play live".
IMO, the best player to ever play football in this country, at his best.

We quite often used to have pre season friendlies against Aldershot, I remember the first outing for a new defensive duo we bought in the close season, Andy Tillson and a certain Darren Peacock.

Went to watch Bouremouth Pompey in a friendly in 2006. Load of us were down there for my 18th, it was hammering it down and we'd been kicked out the B & B we were in so though we'd go and watch.

Yes seen the Rs at the Rec too. Pub over the road - Crimea I think, is a bit of a dive, or was back in the day.
