Cracking interview with big Dan Shittu on Player now

He couldnt stop smiling - clearly really excited to be back at what he calls 'home'. He said he may have started his career at Charlton but QPR is his "real home". Clearly really loves the club and was overflowing with enthusiasm to be back, and to fight for a place to make his own. He said he could have gone to a Prem club but preferred us and said he wants to stay much longer than the 6 months (looking forward to extending contract in the summer). Said he's a much better player now - has all his old attributes but is wiser and can read the game much better now, and is just as quick and strong as ever, and feels he has many more years left in him. His international and Premiership experience has helped his game hugely. Was also very grateful to all the messages of support he's had from fans on FB and Twitter.

Good analysis Stanley. Sounded and looked great.

But he left us for Watford !! A bit like divorcing your wife for a temporay fling with a bit of slightly younger skirt.

He's a great player, I can really see him knocking Connolly or Gorkss out of the team
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Watching them highlights reminded me of how dangerous Danny was in the box at set pieces. Could be very useful.

Oh yes from the half way line. Well near enough
Queens Park Rangers, simply the best.
