Toni mate,
When Neil does go, next week, end of the season, 2 years time, promise me you won't trawl thru the site and bump this thread to the top with
'I told you so, I predicted this ages ago...'
I have also had these thoughts of possible 'lack of backing' and broken promises etc, like a lot of fans have had, and I'm sure he has a few rows with the board, but we hope they work out a compromise. I just don't think Neils a quitter, he'll battle on regardless.Comment

Benny r u including the 2.5m sale of routledge?
If so then we have spent 7.5 which is decent but I do feel your not talking about outbound players.
I don't agree with Toni's post but I do have to wonder why Neil has said he wants no more than 1 loan player that he is now having to do all his deals via loan. To me this isn't the wish of our manager so I don't see he is getting the financial backing than he expected and that IS a worry from a fans point of view that doesn't want a pro board/blinded opinion.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

They have given Warnock around £5m. It doesn't matter where the funds came from, they have backed him since he's been here.
That's the point I am making, so I don't see why NW has any reason to want to walk?
I just don't get all the knee-jerk reactions all the time. We're top. This time last year, NW was bought in to stop us falling into a relagation battle. Now, he's still here taking us to the Prem.
A slight contrast in events, I think you'll agree?Last edited by BennyBoyRs; 21-01-2011, 01:59 PM.Your mum would love me...Comment

I do agree, and like I said I don't agree with Toni's post.
Neil looks to be enjoying his job and I don't really have an issue with loan players.
The players we are talking about espically miller and Routledge are better than our 1st teamers and in my eyes thats a fact. If miller can get fit and have a run of games he will be superb in this division. Big strong but also has pace and a real handful.
Not disagreeing with your point but I did think there would be at least 'some' funds for players we feel the club shouldn't miss out on.I played sunday league football today.

Granted, but as I said the other day...Players like Routledge, Shi**u and Miller could well prove to help us into the Prem. However, this doesn't mean they can help us in the Prem, so I think this is good business, loaning them.I do agree, and like I said I don't agree with Toni's post.

We can't have it all mate. We are still a small club, whether we like it or not. We simply cannot afford to bleed to much money as one day, if all goes wrong, we may not have a club at all.Your mum would love me...Comment

Maybe if Hulse had been taking the chances he should, I know he's been injured, with HH as back up, PA and JM not injured and Walker still here we might have got away with the squad as it was.Benny r u including the 2.5m sale of routledge?
