    Could these 2 moves free up our "apparent" targets, Waghorn and Roberts?

              Hope you are not suggesting Neil Warnock has a lack of ambition, by virtue of the fact he might want players that other clubs feel are not good enough for them. One of them being a mid table Championship side whose manager has made a roaring success of his last few jobs.

                                                  Another example: Kenny Miller to Brum could free up Kevin Phillips.

                                                  I'm as impatient as anyone for us to strengthen... but I suppose it is easier as the month goes on, and player options open up.

                                                  And anyway, if we are "only doing loans", the january transfer window is actually irrelevant to us.

                                                      Id prefer Roberts but Cox would be my 1st choice,wouldnt mind the Leicester guy either but why can he not get his place in their team

                                                          Same could have been said about Luke Varney at the beginning of the season and he's done well at Blackpool.

                                                          I think Waghorn or Cox would definitely offer something different upfront which has what we've been missing when games aren't going our way.
