QPR and Peterborough United fight it out for Harrow hotshot

QPR have joined the growing list of clubs showing interest in Harrow Borough’s Troy Hewitt.

Borough boss David Howell confirmed this week the west London Championship leaders first contacted him about the hotshot striker before Christmas, and are still keen to take on a week’s trial in the near future.

Howell further confirmed other league clubs have also shown interest in his summer arrival from Ilford, who earned an FA player of the round nomination following his hat-trick in the win at Eastbourne Borough in November.
