I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it! -
I think you are reading to much into things, we don't know how much the club are going to spend anymore than you do, Pete posting on here is only his views and anything else would be lying and no matter what Pete posts he can't win.I believe you MYU and I also accept that those fans who just say "spend some money" would be very generous spending the wealth of others - BUT why not treat posters on this board like adults? Why have a six page nonsense threat making out that its some kind of shrewd tactical move to use the loan system? Why not just admit the board aren't spending more because they already feel over-exposed? At least then we would have known where we stood.
I want the club to spend in this window just to make sure we go up, even if it just one or two players, would like to see some go as well.Comment

I am just holding fire until the window is closed, Walters was brought by Stoke fir that figure so that's all I can go by. Warnock himself stated a few weeks ago that HE didn't want to bring players in because it may disrupt the team spirit forged over the last few months, no he is quoted as saying no funds are available, all very strange, as I said the next 3 weeks will answer all questions!Kept the faith!Comment

I agree Morris, Warnock is very direct and going via the press would not be his way, personally I think it is tactical w12 - take your point about trust, but to me, Warnock is the kind of bloke who won't take ****, so if he is being messed around or he had been played or not backed we would have heard about it I'm sure. He is no yes man and he always bigs the board up,Comment

Have to say I'm starting to lose faith in them too. I really think they will leave us as soon as we get to the Premiership taking a nice pocket of cash with them. Now, Then, Forever[CENTER]QPR-Football League CHAMPIONSComment

TBH - I expected more of the board in the summer, But we don't know how much of it was Warnock doing it his way, we were going for the likes of Roberts and Walters on top of what we dis bring but then results took care of things, it is now or never! I think we all agree on that! Interesting 3 weeks I thinkComment

We spent a mil the other day on tommy smith, but surely that was part of warnocks summer budget..
I still think he will get 3 in, 2 loan and one buy. Just my opinion...Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...Comment

my worry is why say no money - he could of said we have a budget for january that way still doesnt give away what there is to spend and us fans are happy to know there is some money if not a lot....
saying that i also agree with previous posters that i dont think NW would criticise the board in the press like that.... he is a wiley old fox...Comment

Have the words been twisted in the print to unsettle the club?my worry is why say no money - he could of said we have a budget for january that way still doesnt give away what there is to spend and us fans are happy to know there is some money if not a lot....

MYU: its pretty obvious the board is not going to spend big, not now and not if we got promoted. I'm not having a go at you or Pete because I love the site and think both of you are great enthusiasts for the club. But I think fans are heartily sick of all these "over the rainbow" promises eg "if we are top six by Christmas the board will get the chequebook out then" etc.
I'm still baffled by the question I have asked many times before and have never received an answer to: "What are the board in it for?" I don't buy the line that their aim is to skim the profit when we get into the Premier League - with increased wages etc there won't be any profits, that is what many people fail to understand. Man Utd is the only Premiership club to run at a profit -fact. So what IS the board's game? Its just a guess but I don't think they have one, they are just bumbling along, treating the club as a bit of a vanity project, a hobby - and that Bernie etc prob doesn't give the club much thought from one day to the next.Comment
