    24 Scunthorpe United (22) 8 2 0 6 8 18 -10 1.00 2.25 0.75 6 wlLlLLwL

So, even tho we lost 2 we are still up there in 5th. Leeds and Hull are unbeaten, so maybe it was lucky that out game with Hull was off, so we only got one 'in form' team with Leeds.
I'm surprised Cardiff are still 2nd considering their poor form, Swansea are very average, and Leeds and Norwich are the ones to worry about. A point on new years day will be a very good result for us according to the form, but we could lose this one due to current form.

So next 4 games, and points predictions.
    QPR - Norwich A-0, BrisC H-3, Burnly A-1, Cov H-3. Total 7 pts
    Cardiff - BrisC A-3, Leeds H-0, Norw A-0, Watfd H-1. Total 4 pts
    Swans - Readg H-1, Leics A-1, CPal H-3, Barns A-1. Total 6 pts
    Leeds - Midds H-1, Cardiff A-3, Scun H-3, Ports A-1. Total 8 pts
    Norwich - QPR H-3, Midds A-1, Cardiff H-3, ShefU A-3. Total 10 pts

So, I see the league table at of Jan as
    QPR - 54
    Norwich - 49
    Leeds - 48
    Swans - 46
Cardiff - 44 - And Dave Jones will be sacked !!!

I'm liking that set of stats.

And would take that 5 point lead at the end of January.

Despite Cardiff only getting 4 points from their last 18, I've a hunch they may still take a point off either Leeds or Norwich, or both.
Which might mean our lead stays at 7 !

Just noticed that Reading are unbeaten in 8 as well, but they look like they have a plan to achieve promotion with 1 pt per game.

I like looking for the surprises in the stats, like

3 of the 'in form' teams are Hull, Bristol City, and Millwall. wtf?

Cardiff are due to meet 'in form' Bristol City away and I have predicted Cardiff to win, but the form table says they ought to lose this game, so a fascinating game which could decide Dave Jones future. If Cardiff only get 3 points from their next 4 games, Jonesy will be under loads of pressure. Many of Cardiff fans want him out.

Also, Leeds, Watford, and Norwich score more than 2 per game average, but leak 1.5 per game too. So for entertaining footie, and no boring 0-0 draws likely.

Ipswich seem to be in freefall, they were 2nd back in October, so Keano under pressure too.

Not sure about that. I think we'll win 3 out of the next 4 games.
Norwich is difficult, we never win up there but this is QPR 2011 - a different breed.
Bristol C at home should be an easy win.
Burnley have problems, fook me if Scunthorpe can win there then we should.
Coventry at home - judging by yesterday should be an easy win.

Put it his way if we lose at Norwich then we will defo take all 3 points at Burnley.
          First game ; QPR 1 Bolton Wanderers 3, Saturday 2nd December 1978.

I am hopeful we can get something out of the Norwich game as they have quite a few 1st XI regulars unavailable - Surman, Ward and Lansbury are injured plus Lappin and Barnett are suspended.

If the ref doesn't fall for Grant "Tom Daley" Holt tumbling over like a felled tree every time he enters the 18 yard box, we'll be ok.

Hopefully, Derry and Warnock will get in the refs ear about him.

                Thug, cheat... good player though.
