Most important question has to be.
Considering he is loved by Ipswich fans for being a great player.
If the club were confident of getting up next season, why did they not keep him?ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Going by that philosphy, no manager would ever manage again once released by a club.Originally posted by qblockpete View PostMost important question has to be.

"they had a better strike force"
"they had a fully fit team"
they were exactly the points i was hoping somone would say
can ANY manager do well without a decent strikeforce?
we knew vine would be out most of the season. was he replaced?
in jan we knew buzacky was going to be out for the season. was he replaced?
lets face it mistakes were made at board level this season. it wasn't dowie nor sousa. it was the board
has any manager got a chance of being succsessful when they are dismissed before they have started
our squad would be of a similar value to ipswich and at times they played some really nice football last season
some people on here are expecting raneri or sven to be announced. WE ARE A MID TABLE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM FFS regardless of how much we are being charged. these big name managers are not going to come to us.
is there much difference between magilton and de canio? NO

not really....he might do well at some clubs lower down as their expectations would be to just be higher up the table....we want premiership football the same as ipswich...he was deemed not the man to take them up so why should he be better here.Originally posted by Mutley View PostGoing by that philosphy, no manager would ever manage again once released by a club.

i am not expecting or wanting a big name...stability is what i am looking for and appointing another mid-table manager is not going to give us that as flavio will get rid at christmas.Originally posted by Sam-QPR View Post"they had a better strike force"

no sh!t sherlockOriginally posted by Sam-QPR View Postwe are a mid table team
if we have ambitions as a club then it has to be a manager that can take us forward...not a manager thats at the same level as we had at the start of the season......dowie & Jm are very similar.....except Dowie had done promotion.
