Why?

It concerns me that you appear to be ripping off your advertisers by advocating multi-clicks on an advert, yet appear not to acknowledge that what you are doing is wrong. I would have thought an open discussion is better than sneaky little private messages. Or have I hit a nerve cos you actually know it's wrong?

This is the actual offer provided by the actual video advert company (Kelkoo)

I'm not trying to "dirty" anyone's name. I'm trying (in vain so it would seem), to get you to see that what the site is doing is wrong. This money you are getting paid by asking for multi-clicks is just wrong. Someone, somewhere is paying for this. If everyone carried on like this where would be be?

It's okay Quaz, I or this website have nothing to hide and it's all in the open from day one, it's only that some twist words that's all.

Everything we do or display has been checked with the companies to see if they are happy with how it's all displayed. I also have emails to confirm that they are pleased.

They would tell us if something is wrong or if they want things changed they do contact us via email or by phone.

That is what they are offering this site, they select the sites they want the ads to be viewed on.

We can't go on the internet and point people to the video and say click on it, we can however ask our own members to click on it as long as we don't use robots that do it all day 24/7.

I think you should contact these companies that provide the actual video advert, not the people who host it, maybe then you will understand it more.

But I'm virtually bed-ridden - I could lay in bed all day with my lap-top and bang away at that advert literally hundreds of times and make you loads of money. But would that be morally acceptable? And in that scenario, what difference is there between me and a bloody robot anyway?

Please don't take anything I've said personally MYU, it's not directed at you, I promise. I just don't want the site to get into trouble. I'd rather post openly and discuss things than send PM's then, as you say, everything is above board.

We pay a lot of money for this site so making sure we do things the correct way always comes first, without fans this or other QPR websites would be nothing.

I can assure you that the companies that provide the video advert such as Kelkoo do have full rights and stats, they select the price and which sites they are on, they can even tell how long each person viewed the video.

I'm just trying to find ways where we can make this site fun, where we can all join in and win prizes, donating money to QPR charities at the same time.

Maybe what I'm trying to acheive is way to much?

OK that's good. Maybe Quaz is right, and I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. If so I apologise unreservedly. But, like I keep saying, I love this site, I'm on it virtually every day (except for hospital days). I'd hate anything to go wrong.
