Don't want either Watson or Ambrose.

Would rather the money went towards either securing Walker or buying just one absolutely top quality striker. And I mean top quality.

We seem to spend money on 5 mediocre players when it would be better spent on just one bloke banging them in every week.

      Watson for me.

Solid, ginger and Prem class. Knows the club. Works well with Warnock, who can get the best out of him.

Ambrose done a big u-turn when they flashed the pound signs at him.

Leave the big fish in his little pond. silly twunt.

Quaz, I must have read it wrongly. I assumed he was trying to kiss and make up so was offering Benny a date - there seems to be so much man love breaking out on this board lately they'll rename our patch of London Brokeback Bush.

Watson v Ambrose - v tough call. Slightly different positions I'd have thought. Watson is a box to box midfielder who can also play the Derry role. Ambrose more likely to play in one of our three attacking midfielder slots I'd have thought (tabs, ambrose and smith would look quite tasty together). Ambrose scores a lot more goals (which is becoming a problem for us) while Watson's all round play is normally better. I'll be greedy and say "both".

Oh no not again hers we go another 30 threads on here about Ambrose if he wanted to come he would have by now, also not sure palace would want to sell to us, Although he's a good player who would probably enhance our team. sure they are totally pissed off with us by now considering their position and ours.

I see the board is getting heated again.. For what its worth, Either would improve us and add more to set pieces.

As one other said , Kyle Walker is a better signing and premiership class, and I would move heaven and earth to get him ahead of either of those clowns.

                        the one big

the one big stumbling block is the price,we would have to offer 4 million for walker and at least two million for ambrose,i just dont think we would put that sort of money up

Watson didn't do a lot for me in his last few games with us on loan, prefer Ambrose.

Hmm. Buzsacky hasn't been mentioned and surely his return would have a say into which is more likely to sign, given that he is a potential goal threat in himself?

I rate Buzz over Ambrose, certainly for ability however Warnock factor would make ambrose a valuable asset.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I say open the thread up and let PalaceDave post on the main page - he is lost in the ether of the general board and has a far greater entertainment factor on here :drunk:
