lol so basically according to you two Ecclestone can be as detrimental and disinterested in the press as he wants...can admit to being a fan of the club down the road and generally mug us off.....but its ok cos he's only joking! :-)
lol we got too many apologists as fans who just like to bend over and take one rather than stand up like men
where was you when Flavio got hounded out after that game?
home wearing slippers in your tank tops watching Tv possibly? :-)

Much of this is bullcr@p as Mallya was minutes from taking over......

      Something smells fishy...

      Time to ring the wagons.

Well we drew again yesterday yet again ut I guess the big announcement predicted for tomorrow by Paul Finney of the INDYRS site will overshadow what the team are doing on the pitch

From what I understand , it was done. Perhaps even shaken on. Something changed, apparently.

Was that the Kingfisher deal or something else?

I'd like to congratulate Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing for doing the double this year.

Did anyone see the pit walk with Martin Brundle talking about Bernie Ecclestone and how he makes things happen?

we wouldnt be human if we were not all disapointed at the mittals pulling out
or not ownng the club, because it was lovely telling people how rich our club
is i just hope the mittals buy out the whole club and rebuild us with stability
and strength ,but if its bernie then he still has 2-5 billion so hopefull its enough

Bernie don't need the money, he is an expert at bringing money in as well as bringing stability to our club. If these guys do leave us in future at least we will know that the future of our club is safe and that's more important.

Bernie is also a free man from today, well not free but will have more time to spend with QPR as the F1 season closes today.

I'd like to see if the boards around the ground fill up, will this happen for next year and which other major sponsors will come on board?

I was having a chat with some Kingfisher and Force India people at the British Grand Prix and it was most definitely "on". Very exciting their plans were too....

Has anyone considered that Mallya may have pulled out as a result of Briatore's F1 antics?

F1 is all about reputation and sponsors, etc. and you only have to look at the total rebranding and colour scheme of the Renault team this year to see how much they are trying to distance themselves from what happened. It would perhaps not have been viable for Mallya to associate a major sponsor of his Force India team (Kingfisher) with another sporting entity that is still publically owned and run by Briatore. Perhaps Bernie is buying Flavio's shares to encourage Mallya to reconsider. If anyone knows the impact of Briatore's antics then he does!

We might be reading too much into this. It might be simply that the Mittals are not 'selling out' at all but maintaining their current ownership with BE buying FB's shares to get him out of the loop to sweeten Mallya on the Kingfisher deal.

This doesn't answer the issue of ground ownership, etc. but perhaps that's not as important to Mallya as club ownership for sponsorship reasons?

I wouldn't go by that thinking it was a done deal, All I know talks were in place and neither Vijay or Lakshmi brought them from Flavio and we all thought that deal was done.

I wonder if anyone knows the truth, it will come out soon.

Main thing is that our football club is safe.

I suspect Briatore is the only person who knows that!:yush:
