none of this pisses anyone else off? clinging to the hope he has somehow been misquoted? or that he didnt really mean it? just having a laugh?
    lol

hope the chump pulls up in his Chelsea tractor out the front of the ground next week like usual so a few of us can let him know what we really think of him...
That is why I love bernie, he will never give you a stright answer and will give you something else, he does this in F1 and everyone knows this, people laugh it off because they tried.

You will never know what Bernie is upto and that is a fact!

By him saying that to me means he is not telling you jack, and there is something going on but you'll have to find out another way.

If Bernie had no interest in QPR why would he be funding the club with Flavio,if newspaper reports were correct?.

Think many fans put too much faith in the Mittal's being the saviours of Ranger's when the reality is it could well be Bernie and Flavio that have kept us going.

I think it was Bernies idea for the change around.

Bernie is a shrewd buisness man.You don't become a multi billionaire like him without having your head screwed on.

Maybe he is thinking of our potential resale value if we go up.

I would doubt any official statement would be made, because anyone looking at Companies House records would know that Flavio/Bernie have 70% share between them, it never changed just Bernie has bought more off Flavio. Its been available for everyone to see.

This idea that Lakesmi Mittal is our saviour and always has been, is something that we are all mistaken about. Did not help the club making a statement about Mittals increasing shares, but the wording never gave any indication on how much, something which many alluded to at the time. Mittal is not really a sports person and whether we like it or not Bernie/Flavio are. No disputing that Lakesmi Mittal was expected to increase shares along with other investors like the guy from Kingfisher, but when pushed come to shove the investment was not forthcoming, which is disappointing considering how many millions the guy is worth.

If the club is owned 70% by Bernie/Flavio it would mean they are the ones who have paid the vast majority of players wages and whilst Bernie/Flavio are Public relations disaster zones, it cannot argued they have invested more than anyone into this football club.

We are top of the league and a have top manager, lets not make the mistake of letting things like this develop into name calling, because end of the day we are in a great position. We are unbeaten, yet only one defeat away from people using this an excuse.
Companies house records do not have to be updated as soon as you buy shares, doing a companies house search today would not necessarily tell you what the shareholding is today. I believe that all companies produce an annual return with shareholding details.

Let's say if that is true, it would still leave QPR in a much better position then we were in before he came along, however I don't think that is true.

As you say he knows what he is doing and if anyone can take this club forwards in the right direction, he can.

                Agree mate.

Without Bernie and Flavio we would have been in serious trouble.

My personal hopes are for Flabbio to assume full control. He can have a day to day, hands on approach with 1st team affairs, and hopefully sign Fernando Hierro and Ivan Campo.

He'll sack Warnock and hire Wilkins so they can have nice managerial discussions in Italian.

i haven't read anything other than the first post because i can't be bothered to trawl through the thread so i am probably repeating some people but i think this is really bad news. A man who has been so public about is lack of interest in the club is not the person i want in charge.

who is he buying the shares from?

Might be an idea to read from the start.

Once Flavio is out the way got a feeling Bernie will sell up too hopefully to the Mittals/Kingfisher guy.

Flavio like all Italians are nightmare negotiators got a feeling the Indians got fed up so Bernie stepping in.

Football News: When friends get together, they make happiness. And when rich friends get together? Well, perhaps they buy a football club, which is rich in history b

Seems to be some backtracking already on this alledged development by a few so it could just be a load of old tosh buts let all just wait until Monday and see what if anything transpires rather then appointing ourselves Judge and Jury?

I just don't get it, what were all the videos earlier on in the season by Amit all about then?
Yet again we've been lied to. What next?
Also Bernie made a comment at one point saying he didn't want us to gain promotion to the Premier League, do we really want a Chelsea supporting old bloke who makes comments like that in charge of us?
