Umm the plural of wierdo (a colloquial term to begin with) is wierdos. No need for an apology though.

            I didn't say it wasn't an ego boost, I said I don't care.

The vast amounts of money raised for charity outweighs any annoyance I may feel at a minor celebrity extending their shelf life.

It's sad that a lot of people have to wait until there's a massively publicised event like Children In Need, before they'll give to charity, but that seems to be a fact of life...

Agree with you wholeheartedly on that one deepcut.

For your info we raised £11,000 last year for CIN which went towards malaria nets in many African regions.

I think starting a thread calling our club a disgrace because they are not raising money for the charity of a certain fans choice is more of a disgrace.

Qpr a disgrace for supporting children in need?!? I think they should be applaauded! Who cares about if a celebrity relaunches their career, the only thing that matters is the millions that are raised for children who havent been as lucky as us. As a club we cant support every charity, each one of us would like to see charites that support issues close to our heart but sadly its not possible.

Lets applaud our for the work they do. I wonder about some of our fans! A disgrace for supporting children in need, now i have heard it all!

Seeing as next Sunday is Remembrance Day I expect most clubs will be collecting on 13th/14th for this cause, so what's wrong with CIN this weekend? People on here need to get a grip. Any effort by a football club to support a charity or cause should be commended.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
