We are desperately short of options up front. Totally one dimensional, No pace, strong in the air, poor finishers.

Some people on this board can't handle the truth,only want to hear "positive remarks" after we draw with bottom team and score 1 goal in 3 games,but we are still unbeaten ,isn't that more important?,no it isn't ,simple fact that most are ignoring on this board,publicaly anyway(PMs agree with me)is that form has slipped and we need a quality striker to get promoted,simple as that

I actually agree with this poster.

The whole stay unbeaten is bol locks.

We haven't been playing well and against teams like Burnley who are far superior to Bristol City we will have to play much better. Our strength in depth upfront is being highlighted. Helguson is shattered and although Hulse should be good, we should have an option to play 4 4 2 as sides seem to have sussed us out.

I agree with the original poster.

I'm delighted with our position and impressive start.

I wish we had a prolific feared striker who when you see he's starting you know he will score. Chopra for example.

We're in a great position and I can't see where the goals are going to come from. I'd hate to see us drift down the table because of the lack of goals.

We need someone in and desperately. It's the final piece of the jigsaw. We'd really smash teams if we had someone like chops!

how can you class typing the wrong WORD as a spelling mistake.

Back to Rebel R's original point there is no doubting we are short up front. We simply don't have a player that would scare any decent defence. On their day Mackie, Adel, Hogan and Helguson can be a handful but prolific they are not.

On the plus side we have had a very good start and are very close to a very good team. Hopefully we can hang on till Jan and then get a couple of strikers in

Newcastle took 16 games to score 25 goals last season and they finished the season as top scorers with 90 goals. Including going on a run of 4 games between matches 10-13 scoring just 1 against us, none against Bristol City, none against Forest and just 1 against Scunny.
