Just been speaking to a friend in Norway, a huge Rosenborg fan. Apparently the hot rumour amoungst their fanbase is that Steffen Iversen on his way to QPR in January. His (British) wife and child have apparently already moved to London in readiness. He has admitted his future is decided but isn't saying exactly what yet.

The QPR link is apparently from the Rosenborg ITK so don't shoot the messenger. ;)

Getting on a bit at 33 though, but a hugely talented player.

Dont panic. I dont think this is more than a rumour. But I can assure you he has still got it. Hugely experienced in international fotball on a level far above the CC. Oh, and by the way, many of his injuries did he get when he played in England all those years ago.
According to himself, he was often forced to play when he was not 100 %.
In that respect,how I hear people are raving about our new medical staff I am sure he is in safe hands this time around.




Personally I wonder why he is being linked to us at all. Will Rob Hulse never play a game for us.
IF Steffen becomes a Ranger I would give him a one year deal from January.
