I would say Petter Vaagan Moen of Brann is a better alternative since he can play on the left wing and in the Taarabt/Faurlin position..and he's still only 26. Best norwegian buy is Henriksen also from Rosenborg but we need to get promotion first to get him. Iversen as a back-up is ok but only til end of season for me.

Erik Huseklepp could also fit in quite nicely.

I'm certainly not criticising Helguson, I've defended him from the moment we signed him. Am just saying I don't think your three main strikers should all be in their last year or two. Even Dave and Clarke are not exactly bright young hopefuls. Wd just like to see us with one nippy, mobile up and coming striker. Not quite sure why that should "do your head in", but there you are...

See your point, but for me Mackie, Hogan and Taarabt coming from deep is good enough, and Smith is quite a nippy player too. Josh Parker has looked promising. Fingers crossed for Bruno Andrade braking through

I have to agree with you. I couldnt see much creativity coming from him really.Especially his shooting looked abysmal on the night. But largely my opinion is Croatia made all our players bar Moa and Jarstein looked a bit clumsy really.
