This is just pathetic. In no way is Vine my favourite, nor do I think he has a future at QPR, but IMO he's entitled to have a moan if he wants.
No fan could be seriously offended by the joey comment (it has to be humiliating for an old pro to train with the kids), and if this is Scott's doing off of the back of Vine tweet to him, then he should be ashamed of himself.

Not sure how old you are but it was the first thing in my head when I read it - 'joey' was a popular insult in my school in the 80s along with 'spastic' and other nasty things. You expect to hear it from a 10 year old but not someone nearly 30.
What other better explanation for the phrase can you come up with? For people late 20s to mid 30s it's not obscure at all. But maybe I am a 'dense individual' too. ;)Last edited by wicksta; 04-10-2010, 05:37 PM.Comment
