He didn't have a bad game. Sparked lots of attacks. Also notable that he was the guy who would often drop back to cover, especially when Walker went forward.
And he covered very well, unlike Derry and Leigertwood letting their scorer run free into the box for the equaliser.
How many people who thought he had a bad game on this thread actually went? After all, those that went gave him a standing ovation when he came off and Warnock was among those clapping.

Id rather we have Faurlin back, we looked better when he was in the side.
Not saying Buzz hasn't done well as a replacement, we have just lacked the football.

Think he is coming back slowly. I like the fact that Buz is now really getting stuck in and tackling and is being very unselfish. He had an opportunity to shoot yesterday and he passed instead. Tabs could learn a little about team play from Buz.

Just not his position and is finding his feet again anyway - understandable if he's not at his best. I'm just glad he's doing a job and keeping us going.

Once Rowlands is fit Buz will be back competing with Smith and Ephraim for one of the attacking slots - Tarbs could well be knackered after his international stint so Buz's big chance might be soon enough.

harsh comments here for buz.. he is playing a very defensive role and is doing a job there. much rather him than legs.

buz behind striker is a different player.. would score more goals in one season than taarabt if played there. buz has a role in the team.. no doubt buz will get his chance and will bang some goals in for us.

Did't go to Palace yesterday but thought he was more than adequate against Doncaster and Millwall.

Defensively he has improved and is certainly doing more than a job in that position. He rarely give the ball away and his touch is excellent.

However he is wasted there as his ttacking abilities are still his strength. He has easily the best shot on him in the team and you want him floating around the edge of the box picking up loose balls, thats where he plays best.

Once faurlin is back i'd play mackie, buz and tarbs behind helguson. Harsh on ephraim who has also been solid all season but i think buzz would offer a little more.

Amazing options though if you have rowlands, ephraim, hulse and smith on the bench. Great squad.

Yes, play Tarbs in the holding role so he can do all his tricks on the halfway line or in his own half...

Given that the team have been told not to pass to Tarbs in his own half or with his back to goal, he would n't see a lot of the action...
what a waste of talent that would be.

Paul given your lack of personality at times on this Message Board it begs to ask the question are you being serious?

we have been over run in the midfield for every game since ally has been out, so i dont really class us as lucky to have buzz
if it wasnt for our battlers and flair we wouldnt of done so well.

I'd have thought Hogan will soon be under more pressure from Smith...

some should stop finding excuses for Buzz, I mean he is far from his form and is not the one I watched 2 years ago. I like him but lets be rational, Buzz has been playing in his POSITION, and Warnoks last interview confirms that. and I saw the games and the whole game against palace. its Taarabt who is not playing in his position, Adel is playing Striker since the faurlin injury. Adel is more Creative than Buzz in the middle :FACT.
