    Leon Clarke

Not even making the subs bench despite we having 7 players injured, can anyone see him playing any part this season and will he be the odd man out from our summer signings?

I would be slightly concerned that Ageymang is ahead of him in the pecking order.

I get the impression that he is not fully fit and his time is bound to come!!!!

Even it is in the 3rd round of the FA cup v Crewe!!!!

I think Warnock is still coaching him... it takes time and he needs to be a better player if he wants to succeed. I don't think we'll be seeing him anytime soon TBH, but in the future I think he could make an impact.

          Think Clarke has a knock?

Warnock always said a signing like this would be a risk.

More concerned that I read Hulse is out till November.

Well I read that Hulse will be back for the Palace game.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think pete is just going down the scare mongering route.

We need a decent player covering every position, with Hulse out we dont have that at the moment in the loan striker dept, certainly Clarke, fit or not does not fit into that catagory.

I've heard he is nursing an injury. Looked lively when he came on against Derby, sat up Pat for the 1st if I remember rightly. Will be a decent squad player, nothing more.

Dont know how you can form that opinion without having seen him kick a ball?

Cant tell you as I didn't go, I waited until I saw him against Derby to make my mind up. And from what I saw, I think he'll be a useful squad player. So you went to the Port Vale game did you?

I did and Clarke was rubbish.
I hope he is injured because if he's fit and behind Dave in the picking order that's a big blow to his confidence.
If Vine is on the bench before him, I reckon he'll give the game up !

to be fair it wasnt just clarke who was rubbish. the whole team were. but cup and league games are a different gravy. from what i hear he did well when he came on against derby, nothing spectacular but nothing wrong.
