An "assist" only counts as a direct pass. The slightest contact from oppo player and there is no official "assist".

now i think about it.. he did lay on the pass for Halls goal against Barnsley didnt he?

He did yeah and I do think he has laid on a number of balls into dangerous areas where we have penalties, just think he deserves a bit more credit has deffo been involved with 6 goals this season.
