Great comments from the Ipswich fans. After receiving a 3-0 battering at PR and a 5-1 home hammering against Boro last year it's good been an excellent couple of days.

Seriously though, Mr Monotone needs to take a look at himself, took me half an hr to put this thread together so fellow R's could enjoy the moment and save them the hassle of looking for the comments themselves.

Why bicker on a day like today, point score and give it the whole 'I told you so', what we've achieved this season so far is way beyond anything even the eternal optimist could have predicted.

Having forfeited a trip to Germany in order to get out to rainy Suffolk for a proper game, I managed to access a ticket in with the Ipswich big wigs...

The most telling comment to me just after Mackie's second from an Ipswich exec was "my God, it's men against boys - we could play til midnight and not score".

Great team performance against a good Ipswich side. Mentioned to the FPO indoors that it's difficult to remember a time when you sat at a game watching Rangers and you a) had no doubt whatsoever that we would win and b) the opposition knew they were beaten. I don't think I've had those feelings since Venables "offside" promotion team of 1982/83. Even Holloway's promotion winners gave you the jitters and you were never 100% sure of the outcome.....

Still - feet on ground - keep working hard.

I havent once mentioned that I championed Taarabt from start to finish and he has been our player of the season so far...

The fact is the reason Rangers were so good last night is that we were first to everything, worked very hard for each other, looked very solid at the back AND had the flair of Adel, Hogan and Mackie (as well as his great desire) to keep the pressure on until the game was well and truly won.

That performance says everything you need to know about our current squad and our current manager - the best of both worlds and simply irresistable

Still - feet on ground - keep working hard.

Take each game as it comes, lose on Sat we will still be top with 2 home games next. In Warnock we probably have one of the best managers around for keeping players feet on the ground and motivating them when necessary.

Competition for places will be what pushes us on, with players performing coming off the bench. The likes of Buzsaky, Rowlands, Hulse & T.Smith are not here to make up the numbers.

I posted snippets of what you posted and as usual, the three stooges decided to get personal on what I posted (no surprise there)

If you think there is an element of 'I told you so', maybe there is as I had a summer of your constant ramblings and sniping about how crap NW's signings were and how bad we were going to be this season and the stick you gave me because I wanting a hard working, well balanced team.

Now thats exactly what we have and other fans are noticing it, I am not allowed to mention It ?
