My mate, the one who is related to a player, told me he was told Rangers were considering buying out the rest of Roberts' Blackburn contract in order to get him here and on a lower wage. If that dont make sense dont shoot the messanger, its only what i was told. Maybe Walkonby could shed some liight

                                          that makes perfect sense to me - Roberts gets a lump sum on signing but a lower ongoing salary. That way his wage can be in line with the other top earners at the club thereby not breaking our wage structure and upsetting the other players.
