Im assuming that is Roberts. My mate, the one who is related to a player, told me he was told Rangers were considering buying out the rest of Roberts' Blackburn contract in order to get him here and on a lower wage. If that dont make sense dont shoot the messanger, its only what i was told. that makes perfect sense to me - Roberts gets a lump sum on signing but a lower ongoing salary. That way his wage can be in line with the other top earners at the club thereby not breaking our wage structure and upsetting the other players.Originally posted by Bigdave View PostIm assuming that is Roberts.
