Smith is naturally a left sided attacking midfield, a replacement for cookie (even though i hope cookie plays again) We`re very short in that department. Smith is a good buy, he`ll get us 10 odd goals a year.

Bottom of the premier league, what do you expect, he's championship material only, doesn't help when you're in a crap side playing against the top clubs, check out before he went to Pompey. smith will be a quality addition to the squad which it desperately needs in the position he plays in,as for saying buzz or rowly could fill the position when its clear to see they are both centre mids & not so effective played wide.
