Smith is naturally a left sided attacking midfield, a replacement for cookie (even though i hope cookie plays again) We`re very short in that department. Smith is a good buy, he`ll get us 10 odd goals a year.

Bottom of the premier league, what do you expect, he's championship material only, doesn't help when you're in a crap side playing against the top clubs, check out before he went to Pompey. Player of ghe year 2 seasons on the trot for Watford, scored well too not only that check his stats and see his assists, I think you'll find he will be a good addition.

Was Watford's best player by FAR when he was there.

smith will be a quality addition to the squad which it desperately needs in the position he plays in,as for saying buzz or rowly could fill the position when its clear to see they are both centre mids & not so effective played wide.

                    Top player.

You watch just how hard he WORKS when we have not got the ball.

Most of NW's signings have this common thread - ability and workrate.

What do you need to succeed at anylevel of football?
Why ability and workrate of course.

Mackie - full of industry, strong in the tackle, has two great feet and an eye for goal.
Derry - all the above except eye for goal.
                    Orr - ditto
You can add Mr.Smith to that list.

Then there's Adel --- the cherry on the icing of what's turning into a very tasty cake thank you very much.

Now if only we could raise a large glass of Kingfisher and move on fully.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

If he can produce the sort of form he did whilst he was at watford i'd put my neck on the line and say he could potentially be Warnocks BEST signing so far.
