Am I right in thinking that if we are the main match on the football league show then it is likely you will find the match streamed due to the cameras being at the match and viewing rights sold to foreign TV channels?

Granted but Scandinavian commentators are probably in studios not at the match, the cameras and infrastructure for a live match still need to be in place?Originally posted by HammersmithR View PostIn Scandinavia we are on a lot because we are popular. Simple as that. Scandinavian channels can show whatever game they want.

Actually Dave, W12 is correct. The games being shown from the championship is always one of the 2 featured games on BBC. Last season Palace away and Bristol City and M'boro at home was on + the games that are on SkyOriginally posted by HammersmithR View PostIn Scandinavia we are on a lot because we are popular. Cheers Frode, you see my point being is if we are flying high all season then we could be looking at a fair number of matches on the live stream on top of those matches on Sky.Originally posted by Frode View PostActually Dave, W12 is correct. Saturday was the first time I've watched us on a live stream and it made my weekend being unable to attend the game.Last edited by W12_Ranger; 30-08-2010, 06:05 PM.

I think in the future all games will be viewable on the net by subscribing through the clubs websites.Hopefully end Sky's monopoly and all revenue goes to the club. They hire the crews to film it then sell the game to fans for £X.Originally posted by swanleyhoop View PostIt's a shame all our matches can't just be streamed live for everyone who can't make the game.

But would the revenue they make match Skys payments, I'm not sure about that?Originally posted by stan_bowles View PostI think in the future all games will be viewable on the net by subscribing through the clubs websites.Hopefully end Sky's monopoly and all revenue goes to the club. They hire the crews to film it then sell the game to fans for £X.
Definately something to consider for the future and once blanket wage caps are enforced in English Football, the clubs could start working on giving something like this back to the fans.

Lets hope so! In Norway you can now watch every single match of your team in the Premier League...so lets hope we get promoted :pleasantsuprise:Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostCheers Frode, you see my point being is if we are flying high all season then we could be looking at a fair number of matches on the live stream on top of those matches on Sky.

The big prem teams like Man U and Liverpool would rake it in in Asia. One or two games could raise more money for teams like those than the Sky payments.Licence to print money for clubs like that.Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostBut would the revenue they make match Skys payments, I'm not sure about that?

Bang on and hope in future all QPR games can be on PPV in India or live on telly, which means it should bring in more money and more fans to our club, they need to promote our club a little more.Originally posted by stan_bowles View PostThe big prem teams like Man U and Liverpool would rake it in in Asia. One or two games could raise more money for teams like those than the Sky payments.Licence to print money for clubs like that.
