He is a very good player at this level, he is a right winger/striker and i can see him replacing mackie or hogan in the wing role. Chips in with goals and he is a team player with a lot of spirit

Got an old acquaintance who works at the club. Known him for 5 years and saw him tonight, had a chat about the club and he gave me a few tidbits.

Roberts is a move in the process. Probably only move likely to happen on deadline day. It's 50/50 atm

Walters was done deal but he screwed us over to move to Stoke. We had to beg the Mittals for the money to fund the move

Varney was a done deal but he went to Blackpool

We tried to hijack the Keogh deal but the wages were extortionate

Paul Hart quit after Fabio handed him a piece of paper with the team he wanted to play

That's all I got out of him. I reckon we might sign one striker on deadline day, but doubt it will be anymore.

Don't shoot the messenger but this is what he told me.
