But this is the problem and what appears to be a stigma attached to those fans who support their team and act sensibly inside a football ground. You get labelled goody two shoes, whiter than white or mary poppins......in any other sport this is unheard off. We are not in the 80's anymore, anti social behaviour doesn't suddenly become acceptable within a football ground.

Many of us let of some steam at football, some sing, swear, scream, shout others moan but we all know where the line is. When you step over that line I believe you well and truly know what you are doing thus your taking a liberty and should therefore be prepared to face the consequences.

Its amazing how many fans think they are hard done by in these situations and granted there may be a few legitimate cases but at the end of the day I don't ever see your average sensible supporter being thrown out of football grounds, its always the i.diots from my experience.

Am not trying to appear sanctimonious but there are lots of cases of people going over the top at matches. What about the YouTube footage of that lunatic at the PV match... Ok there will be some who thought it acceptable(not many though I'd hope) and some who might laugh but I'd like to think that the vast majority of fans thought that it was completely OTT and desperately sad that someone can get THAT angry just watching a match....

I swear and curse at times of course its unavoidable at times but I would never make threatening or lewd hand gestures as I think it would make me look ridiculous... if that makes me some kind of Quaker or something then I'll have to live with that....

Chim chimerny... chin chimerny... chim chim charoo......

the bloke who got thrown out will not be banned from LR unless the police decide to prosecute in the hope of getting a football banning order. If he was just released with a caution then he can rest easily tonight as that would be the end of it.
