Brilliant idea. I think it would improve this place no end, it would certainly make it far less cluttered and easier to navigate. I really think you guys should consider something along those lines.

Considering we're sitting pretty on top of the league I also think its incredibly sad to read all this constant bitching and backbiting. Its as if no matter how much success the club have on the pitch people will always want to find something to squabble over.

we have tried keeping stuff to single threads by merging similar threads, that got moaned about.
Alot of people cannot be bothered looking to see if a thread has already been started, they just start a new one.
Having a tidy forum is not for the want of trying.

Thats exactly the way it should be done and these one threads should include people asking for updates as well

Would certainly clean this forum up may lose a few posters who won't be missed in the process but it would gain a better standard of poster in the process.

If true and that I doubt, Hulse is a cracking signing, just look at the way we play with Adel, Hogan and Mackie feeding/playing off Helgusson. If this is the way we are going to play and the 4-2-3-1 / 4-2-1-3 formation then you need a player to win in the air and hold the ball up. If helgusson gets injured we have nothing else. However we do also need a pacy player to give us a different option, so signing both would make sense.

We also need a pacy centre half but I dont think we are going to get one

Then delay threads getting posted until a Mod quickly reviews it, it might sound like hard work but after a few weeks people will get the message.

Maybe thats exactly the problem mate, people being too lazy to check the other threads first. It strikes me a rule or two might not go amiss over that IMO. I appreciate its a tough job though!
