Gone by christmas, joke of an appointment.

Now shall we discuss the next manager after xmas.?

ipswich sacked him because he failed to get them into the playoffs, having spent 12 million.

they replace him with a winner, roy keane.

we get the ipswich cast off who surely has just proved he isnt good enough for them which means he isnt good enough for us.

we are becoming more of an embarrassment by the day.

trouble is, we all know whats going on. the owners made a rod for their own back. no decent manager would touch us.

remember he's cheap as he hasn't got a job currently and no one else is looking at him, plus if we're rubbish next season the owners can blame him instead of themselves for not investing in new players.

Why would the players want Jim Magilton? ...not like he's got a decent track record or anything!

probably because he's "one of the lads" type of manager and they'll get an easy ride and be on the golf course by 2pm after training

God this getting boring, we are the laughing stock of football if this is right.

I pray they do not appoint this guy it really would be sinking to new depths.

Maybe they are trying not to sell season tickets or attract any decent players.
If Flav does this, then it shows he has no idea, he got sacked because he did not get them in the play offs for f**ks sake

Oh dear. Hope this is wrong info. Much rather re-appoint Dowie. Still, all is not lost, if its JM. If Buzz is soon back to his old self and we get a striker and a left back, we will have a real chance at the play-offs, possibly whoever is the manager/coach. And we could appoint someone worse than JM. No realistic chance of automatic promotion though. I think I'm beginning to understand at long last why some of you aren't renewing your season tickets--a lot of money in this recession, having to sit in a crap seat in a crap ground (never been much of a fan of the ground TBH), and too often, watch a poor standard of football.

I dont think Magilton would do a bad job

again we are after a coach not a manager!

Haven't Magilton's teams finished higher than ours every season he's been a manager?
