How much do you need ?

And is that just to decide, or "get you in" ?

So, will Warnock break the golden rule? Will he change a winning team on Saturday?

Great news. Signifies intent more than anything. If its 3m then its Mittal money and he's backing NW. Great signing in my opinion.

need to sort out medical. I would expect it to be tomorrow.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

All that matters to me is that he's a very good player who actually wants to play for Warnock and QPR... unlike one or two others, who can go and f**k themselves.

Warnock is doing a fantastic job since he arrived, look where we were.

                  That's all.

Pricey for what I assume is the "utility player". (He doesn't really fit the bill as an out and out striker so hoping that is where he would fit in.). We'll have to see. My view of the worth of this (potential) signing depends really on what else is going to be happening up front. If we can afford Walters as well then fine. Better than fine. He is not a fantastic player but he is certainly good enough and better than Hogan (although I agree with comments of others that given Hogan;s start he shouldn't be allowed to just oust him). But let's not kid ourselves - Hogan's current form is out of character and it would be foolish to bank in it continuing forever.

I have to say I doubt he has been Warnock's number 1 aim all along as has been suggested elsewhere. That just doesn't ring true. And he wouldn't even have been available till Keane took the armband off him and they exchanged hissy fits.

                        Very good signing.

                        Happy with that.

Personally i reckon the deal will be about 2 Million.

In 1972/3 pormotion season we bought Dave Thomas from Burnley for 200k, loads of people though great potential, doesnt score many goals, fee madly high........look waht happend. Jago was a very astute manager and knew a good player...he was established with Burnley as a 23 YEAR OLD WITH POTENTIAL. He was still with us 3 years later when we nearly won the league.

Give Warnock a chance, believe me, I am convinced he is building a team to win this league. I like Walters, only 26, potential to get better, scores goals, makes goals, has pace, skillful and tough. I believe we would pay around 1 mill up front, 1 mill fo promoted and other staged payments. He is our winger/forward/midfieder
                            .
I believe we will get one, possiblely two other forwards. My money is on 2 from Kitson/Roberts/the Derby lad.

If Walters happens lets be happy.......we are making a statement to this division that in my view we have not made since money men became involved with the team I love.

                            Enjoy it and smile!
remember that period well, although dave thomas fee i'm sure was £165,000 but that's by the by.think you've captured my feelings very well in that we are indeed making a statement of intent and i've waited so long for anything like this to happen.top post and yes lets ALL of us be happy

class sigining and great player at this level.....yes i think 3.2 mill is too much...but i don't believe for one minute that's the actual fee.....more like 2 - 2.5 tops and maybe add ons if we get promoted........don't #### him off before you see him, i think he'd become a fans fav very quickly....i trust warnock and dont think this will be our last signing!
