...how come we can't find one?

According to The Mail this morning the following clubs are soon likely to secure the services of a decent striker.

Beattie to Glasgow Rangers for £1.5m.

Harewood to Blackpool.

Scotland to Ipswich £1m.

Stead to Cardiff.

McCormack to Ipswich.

Aliadiere to W.Ham.

What riles me is that these teams already have 2 or 3 established strikers playing for them and we can't muster ONE, unless you consider Clarke to be the surprise package Warnock claimed he would be.

Now we learn from Moon Safari that Roberts and Chopra are off the agenda.Perhaps now we'll go for the overweight and probably unfit jailbird King,which undoubtedly was Warnock's target all along given our financial constraints..... VERY WORRYING.

Tried for beattie he wanted silly money, harewood is past it..scotland also on the down slope..stead only ever scores against us so no point signing him..mcormack a one season penalty king . aliadiere did really well for midds in this division!!!!!! NEXT...........

Any number of our members would,under our present circumstances, take Scotland or Stead at the drop of a hat and McCormack got a brace last night (not penalties).
