Dowie on Soccer Saturday (QPR related)

Could not make the game Saturday so ended up watching Jeff Stelling and the boys. During the pre match guff and predictions Dowie fancied QPR especially as he believed NW had significant funds to spend and was looking to sign a couple of players. Got the impression from the way he said it and from the ribbing he got from the other panelists that he may have inside info.

Did anyone else see it and what did you make of his comments?

i really hope our fans stay grounded in relation to promotion.. its all good to get excited but in reality we need to try and keep additional pressure off our team.

    4-0 was flattering.

    barnsley arent that good.

we didnt create much in open play until 2-0 up, when barnsley's heads dropped.

in regard to dowie i reckon he may know bits n pieces but i expect us to sign 2 strikers, one loan one perm
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Yes mentioned it at the time, Dowie appeared the slip up and started back tracking a little. Clearly seemed to think we have significant funds which are going to be spent.

Your having a laugh, we'd have been mid table no diff to now, only Paul Hart was a worse manger than Dowie.
